Not sure if it was covered with tree sap or what, but it took clay bar, compound, and multiple passes with polish to remove.  The 23 year old paint was thick but hard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used Meguiar\u2019s M105 with a wool pad on the Rupes DA \u2014 something I would normally do on a wrap or seriously swirled out paint, but it worked. Then I switched to a yellow pad and Rupes Fine (yellow) polish to finish, before applying Reflex Pro II coating.
