{"id":2598,"date":"2017-09-16T00:55:04","date_gmt":"2017-09-16T00:55:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.specr53.com\/blog\/?p=2598"},"modified":"2025-02-16T00:50:27","modified_gmt":"2025-02-16T00:50:27","slug":"wheel-studs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gcomotorsports.com\/specr53\/hpde\/wheel-studs\/","title":{"rendered":"Wheel Studs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Last weekend brought the final track event for NCC BMW CCA this &nbsp;year at Summit Point. &nbsp;Although I had a great time as usual, the weekend wasn&#8217;t completely worry free. &nbsp;If &nbsp;you run wheel studs instead of bolts, you may not be aware that you need to replace them every couple of years. &nbsp;I know this, but I tried to delay for the winter, but the gods of oxidation thought otherwise, teaching me a few important lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lesson 1: Don&#8217;t cheat time.
