Mostly it seems to be with 996\/997 Porsches but it could affect other cars as well.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re getting the following error: &#8220;The OBD sensor does not receive data at an expected rate. Please check compatibility between car, OBD dongle, and LapTimer.&#8221; Harry offered the following workaround:<\/p>\n<p>Please add the following string to LapTimer \u2023 Administration \u2023 Settings \u2023 Expert Settings \u2023 OBD Tweaks \/ Exclude PIDs:<\/p>\n<p>Code:<br \/>\n0900092009400902<\/p>\n<p>With 0902 disabled (because it is not available anyway), LapTimer will not be able to receive the vehicle identification number and consequently will not switch to this car automatically.
